I love this girl SO much. Caroline has such a sweet personality, beautiful smile, and a heart to follow God. Even though this past week has been tough for her, I loved that we were able to share what we've been struggling with.
I loved sitting down at my favorite spot at Starbucks and journaling, writing letters to God with Caroline. I love that when we are so overwhelmed, we can come before the Lord and be 100% honest, knowing that He sees us, He hears us, He knows us, and He LOVES us.
Sometimes, it's so discouraging when we think about the ways that we
fail and things that we regret. I'm so glad that we were able to share
our weaknesses so openly and encourage one another to rejoice in our
weaknesses because it reminds us of how much we are in need of God. How
much we are in need of grace.
I'm so thankful that God has placed her in my unit. She has taught me so much and it is always such a joy to see her. It has been on my heart to start a small group in our unit to just talk about God and challenge one another to walk more closely with Him. Today, when I suggested it, Caroline got so excited and had zero hesitation. "LET'S START IT TONIGHT!" So we did. :)
College can be so tough. But I loved that Caroline, Olivia, and I could get together and talk about how we were created in the image of God. We were made to be women who emulate God's glory and beauty. We made goals for how we are going to reflect God's image better this week, without holding back.
