I love how one person makes a difference. For some reason, it makes a world of a difference to be sitting at dinner with another person as opposed to sitting alone. The presence of a friend is so magical. Every person has the ability to be present, and I think that makes every single person so special.
I love Thursdays because I can have dinner with Sherry. We have such busy lives but we set aside this night to catching up and talk.
We laugh about the embarrassing moments of our weeks,
we get excited about upcoming events,
we make life decisions about whether or not to get desert.
I like that we enjoy each other so much that we can sit at dinner for an hour and a half,
just talking and enjoying one another. :)
