A Day of Celebration!

I believe that everyone deserves to have a day of celebration. That is why birthdays are one of my favorite things! Every person has a beautiful story and every person, whether they believe it or not, has influenced those around them in one way or another. 

Irene Sun is one of my favorite people on earth. Though we are in different stages of life and miles apart, I love how we can always be silly together but at the same time engage in long, deep conversations.

 

 I love how her joy radiates and is so contagious.

 I love that you can't help but be so passionate about the things that she is so passionate about.

I love her randomly encouraging notes and emails.

I love that it always takes us half an hour to say goodbye because we just love talking to each other. 

I love that we both love to be around people. 

I love that we love rice and soy sauce.

I love that we love corny jokes. 

I love that we get so into conversation that we forget the volume of our voices. 

I love that we can sing with just our hearts and voices. 

I love that every moment we spend together is so precious. 

Irene has taught me so much. She has brought me so much wisdom, so much love, and so much joy in my life. But most importantly, she has shared with me so much truth about God and how to grow in a deeper relationship with Him. Not only with her words but with her heart and with her actions. 

I think today is a day definitely worth celebrating.
