"random acts of kindness are really acts of unselfishness"

I love getting mail--letters, notes, updates, anything! But today was EXTRA special. I received a package from Julie! It wasn't just any package, it was a HUGE package filled with a letter and tons upon tons of food!

Julie is a freshmen at Tufts in Massachusetts. I have known her since she was in 7th grade. I love that we share the same excitement for the little things in life and that we both love country music, reading under a tree, and talking with one another. I love that Julie and I can have great conversations even though we are so many miles away from one another.

The last thing I expected was a care package full of food from her. After all, she's only been in college for a few months and I should be caring for her. I found out that she had been saving the food that she had at school and buying the ones that I would like (Sour Cream and Onion Chips), just to send me the perfect care package!

There are so many why I think Julie is awesome and this is one of them. She truly is willing to put others before herself. She is willing to give up her favorite foods to put together the best care package for me!

Sometimes, you don't need to be someone important to be considered great. You just need to be unselfish. :)

Thanks, Julie! :)

But it's SOSOSOOOO great to see the smiling faces of the girls being under your care. (They're so blessed to have you as your RA!)

I absolutely LOOOOVED the pictures (that were so artfully taken)! The picture with you holding the sour cream and onions chips made me laugh ^.^

And don't the gummy sharks remind you of Emeth?!
